For this 1927 New York City landmark, luxury residence and 5-star hotel, Acheson Doyle Partners has provided a full scope of architectural services on a continued basis since 1987.
ADP Architects has restored the exterior facades, provided interior design services for the lobby, retail, restaurant, hotel services, and back-of-house areas. As architects for The Sherry-Netherland, Inc., Acheson Doyle Partners represents the Hotel in all its dealings with the Landmarks Preservation Commission, including its window replacement master plan, façade restoration, and street level storefront designs.
For private clients within the residential portion of the building, ADP Architects has assisted in overseeing the design and decoration of over seventy-five hotel rooms, including public hallway and lobby restorations.
Other recent capital improvement projects at the Sherry-Netherland have included the installation of a steam condensate hot water preheat system, the upgrade of the closed circuit surveillance system, the replacement of steam pressure reducing valves, the replacement of the chiller and cooling tower, the provision of an emergency generator and new emergency lighting.
