Acheson Doyle Partners designed this shingle-style guesthouse on a private estate in Easthampton, NY, adjacent to a tidal estuary.
The project involved the restoration of an existing structure, the design of the new guest house with a tennis court, and sensitive landscaping within the constraints of New York State wetlands guidelines.
The guesthouse was carefully placed in relation to views of the estuary and wetlands setbacks. The project was completed in 1995 and was published in Architectural Digest magazine.
