The Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum required an off-site conservation laboratory, art collection storage and library facility. Acheson Doyle Partners Architects served as Architect-of-Record for this industrial renovation. More project details.
The 3rd and 4th floor facility houses administrative personnel, a visitor’s area, a conservation laboratory, a photography laboratory, a high-density collection storage and a library. Natural light adorns the new gallery spaces. Museum-quality lighting and HVAC systems were installed as part of this renovation.
