Acheson Doyle Partners partnered with the Archdiocese of New York and the NYU Facilities Department to aid in the transfer of development rights to the site, as well as coordinate critical presentations to the New York City Planning Commission and the Board of Standards and Appeals.

The building, designed by Machado Silvetti Architects, houses a multi-faith Chapel overlooking Washington Square Park and a lobby gathering space designed by Acheson Doyle Partners Architects for faith-based student organizations. A grand corridor serves as a spine connecting to various meeting rooms. Clean, modern interiors feature richly finished venetian plaster, walnut wood panels and marble and porcelain tiles.
