Private Greenwich Residence
RESIDENTIAL
ADP Architects performed an extensive gut renovation of this 5,730 SF single family residence in Greenwich, CT, built in 1940. More project details.
The design carefully honors the residence’s traditional architectural heritage while highlighting its exceptional mahogany woodwork. Classical proportions, period-appropriate moldings, and restrained detailing are used throughout to reinforce the home’s original character. Spatial layouts and sightlines are organized to showcase key mahogany elements—staircases, built-in cabinetry, door and window surrounds, and mantelpieces—so they become focal points in each room.
