Penthouse Loft

RESIDENTIAL

An 1882 warehouse spaces was transformed into a spacious duplex penthouse loft in lower Manhattan with the help of Acheson Doyle Partners. A rooftop penthouse bedroom was expanded to free up space in the lower level. More project details.

Acheson Doyle used space maximizing techniques coupled with historically sensitive structural interventions to create a modern loft that celebrates a nod to its past. The vernacular elements of the 1880s building, including timber columns and floor joists, were restored and became the genesis for the design aesthetics.
